Graffiti (singular: graffito) is writing or drawings that have been scribbled, scratched, or sprayed illicitly on a wall or other surface in a public place.

Modern graffiti has many different purposes from gang affiliations, territorial wars, self expression, political awareness, advertising, and so much more. Why is it illegal if it's the oldest art form we have documented? Why do people's mark on the world get white washed by a higher power? Just because you don't get something doesn't mean it's wrong.
